Under strategic direction of the Vice President Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources is a senior human resources business partner role supporting the School of Medicine and the SLUCare physician practice. Key accountabilities for this role include employee engagement, culture enhancement, change leadership, employee relations, strategic partnership, and talent management.
The Director role provides leadership, guidance and strategic partnership to medical enterprise leaders to accomplish organizational objectives. It also involves leading the creation, implementation and administration of tactical day-to-day human resources programs and policies to enhance culture and support an engaged workforce. This position is a hands-on role. It will require both thought leadership as well as the willingness and ability to roll up one's sleeves to do the work to ensure the successful implementation and administration of policies and programs.
