This administrative position is a key role in the Occupational Health Department in managing patient flow and the clinic schedule. This person will be comfortable with various types of software, as well as interacting face to face with BCH employees.
This HR Service Representative will be responsible for:
Ensuring that appropriate documentation is prepared and maintained. Facilitating scheduling of appointments, completing forms, and being available to address concerns.
Conducting pre-employment meetings with new hires, collecting and assembling new hire data, and transacting new hire data entry in appropriate system.
Administering workflow of AP SharePoint application, ensuring integrity of data submissions by department administrators, responding to questions about processing status, and transacting AP data entry in PeopleSoft. Maintaining metrics for services provided.
Acting as subject matter expert to HR Service Center for proper responses to inquiries by phone, in person, or by email regarding AP and medical staff HR activity.
Maintaining AP and employee records files according to HR records retention policies and practices.
Maintaining medical documentation and conducts processes associated with workers compensation, fit testing, records management, and compliance.
Coordinating front desk operations or telephone support.
To qualify, you must have:
One year in an office setting (Medical or HR setting, preferred)
Experience with data entry and coordinating high-volume administrative processes.
Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions or well-developed writing skills.
The ability to communicate at all levels.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft products.
The ability to be customer service oriented which includes the ability to interact professionally and handle sensitive information / issues in a confidential and respectful manner.
