IDA has an immediate need for an HR Analyst who has a passion for market research, analyzing data and discovering insights. This individual will support the HRIS and Compensation team in the development, implementation and management of IDA’s HR data analytics strategy, compensation programs and HRIS enterprise systems, databases and applications.
Monitors day-to-day system operation, including interfaces between the HRIS and other internal/external systems.
Develops testing scenarios for all projects, upgrades, etc. and ensure that all processes and testing are thoroughly documented.
Coordinates, maintains and enhances the HRIS in conjunction with the user areas and information systems.
Provides systems training to users and ensure changes in procedures are clearly communicated and follow up training performed as necessary.
Provides analysis of performance for all aspects of metrics delivered and identifies key trends.
Provides project management support for assigned projects and tasks to ensure successful completion.
Partners with HR and IDA’s Divisions to develop reports as required to meet management requests and needs for human-resource-related information to various levels, including building visualizations to communicate data and metrics, data maps, dashboards, etc.
Conducts workforce analyses and delivers meaningful metrics, trends, key insights and detailed analyses in all areas of HR.
Produces ad hoc queries/reports including information to support special initiatives.
Develops and maintains job descriptions for all positions using interviews, audits, external/internal comparison and other methodologies.
Conducts pay studies of exempt and non-exempt positions using a market-pricing evaluation system; documents findings, provides recommendations for and maintains records of validity of evaluation results.
Participates in surveys, develops resources for maintaining timely marketplace information to use in compiling and reporting on data, employee turnover, demographics and other pay or performance related information.
Reviews salary administration policies, establishing pay procedures, and recommending changes as appropriate to ensure compliance with regulatory concerns (DCAA, OFCCP, FLSA, ADA).
Conducts reviews for appropriate classification such as FLSA and adjuncts; maintains awareness of and furnishes employee communication materials related to compensation (e.g., employee requests, regulatory compliance requirements on federal and state levels).
Maintains and ensures for the accurate and timely processing, reporting, and coordination of pay and performance data in the HRIS and other systems (i.e., CompXL).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Data Science or relevant field with at least four years in compensation and/or HRIS administration to include analytics and statistical operations.
Experience working with compensation principles, practices and procedures.
Experience with data analysis, modeling, design and documentation.
Demonstrated experience in supporting at least one (1) HR related business processes such as performance/talent management, talent acquisition, compensation or payroll.
Strong quantitative skills especially in statistical analysis is a must.
Ability to identify information that appears out of alignment or incorrect.
Computer-proficient (MS office notably MS Excel); detailed oriented, and strong analytical and statistical capabilities; experience in the use of an HRIS system is desired.
Experience with Tableau is preferred.
Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills, tact and discretion in handling information, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Ability to effectively collaborate and work with all staff levels.
WorldatWork certification preferred.
Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
