ThedaCare in Appleton, Wisconsin, is currently seeking applicants for the role of Vice President, Human Resources Operations. ThedaCare is a community health system consisting of seven hospitals, numerous clinics and related services. They are the third largest health care employer in Wisconsin and the largest employer in the state's second largest economic market - Northeast Wisconsin - with approximately 6,800 employees.
The Vice President, Human Resources Operations is responsible for defining and executing a strategy for essential, foundational HR functions and managing HR operational centers of expertise delivering an engaging customer experience and high quality, transactional work done in a timely and accurate manner. This individual is accountable for continuous process improvement, change management, customer satisfaction, and defining and ensuring that service level agreements are met. Collaborates closely with HR leaders to understand business priorities to deliver on key accountabilities.
Provides strategic direction to functional domains including compensation, benefits, HR service center, and employee relations.
Monitors and drives improvements in HR end-to-end processes including coordination with other internal and external providers of HR transactional services.
Works with the HR leadership team, strategic HR business partners, and HR functional leaders to establish and monitor service level agreements.
Evolves and oversees the HR operations scorecard and critical metrics, reports, and analytics to ThedaCare to enable better decision making.
Understands business needs and priorities while anticipating future service delivery needs based on changes in the business.
Requires, reinforces, and drives a high degree of customer service and customer experience mindset for all HR services.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, MBA, or Master's in human resources or business operations and five years of experience managing within complex HR service environment. This individual should have eight years of people management experience with a proven track record of strong leadership skills, team development, and building effective teams. Preferred experience in metrics and data driven to continuously deliver process improvement at all levels of HR operations, as well as producing functional scorecards.
