The ideal candidate for this position will provide excellent customer service to the public, students, faculty, and staff of SKYCTC. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources and will be primarily responsible for providing professional support services for human resources operations to include:
Administers and processes all human resources employment actions for SKYCTC.
Completes the hiring process; posting, advertising, forming screening and interview committees, developing interview questions, scheduling interviews, and other forms of communications to prospective employees.
Maintain employee records through the electronic imaging system.
Administers, processes and maintains benefit packet information and communicates availability to employees. Provides benefit information to assist employees in making informed decisions, and acts as benefit liaison.
Conducts new employee orientations and develops presentations related to employment and benefits.
Maintains knowledge of all applicable labor, employee laws, and KCTCS policies and procedures staying abreast of updates and changes.
Assist with human resources communication and initiatives such as new employee luncheons, employee engagement activities, wellness activities, etc.
Serves on committees as requested and other duties as assigned.
