Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Penn Highlands Healthcare (PHH) to assist in the recruitment of their next Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO.) The CHRO will closely advise the senior management team concerning a variety of human resources matters and initiatives for Penn Highlands Healthcare; he/she will work closely at all levels within the organization to communicate strategic priorities into a Human Resources vision and plan that promotes the professional development of all PHH team members. The successful leader will assess and refine human resources strategies and practices that focus on enhancing employee engagement, talent acquisition and management, technology enhancement, organizational development, succession planning, and the integration of human resources across the organization.
Reporting to system President and Chief Executive Officer, Steven Fontaine, the CHRO will direct all areas of human resources, including compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, employee and workforce development, labor relations, and the Center for Employee Health. This role requires an innovative, highly driven executive who is by nature highly performance-oriented and metrics-driven in advancing high quality Human Resources services.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, communicative, innovative and results-oriented HR leader. He/she will have a minimum of ten years human resources management experience, a significant portion of which should have been in a compelling leadership role for the design, development and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies and improving organizational results. An ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in human resources, business, healthcare administration or other related fields, and will have past experience leading a high performing HR team at a senior level.
