Full Stack Web Developer Student Intern - Human Resources, Recruiting-2012199

The HR team at CMU is embarking on a multi-year effort to improve systems, processes and services. We are seeking a summer intern to assist our recruitment team develop a technical business solution - if you're excited about being able to contribute to new capabilities across the full stack, and you like working with a small, agile team to deliver amazing software, we'd love to talk to you!
The role: We're looking for a student intern who will develop an interactive database from which hiring managers will be able to select questions, print guides, and assess candidate responses.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Participate in project planning to include product design and timeline;
Write solid code that is well designed, defect-free, and efficient; and
Interact with our technology team to implement the software solution.

Beginning in May with some flexibility; this is a fixed term position dependent upon completion of the project.

Standard hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday- Friday; flexibility for remote work is available with scheduled office days to touch base with the team.
Currently enrolled in college and studying computer science, information systems, or related field.
Demonstrated experience developing technical system solutions; samples of project work may be requested during the interview process.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with a desire to solve problems programmatically.
A strong commitment to software quality, positive attitude, and ability to work well with others and as a member of a team.
