Germanna Community College is seeking an energetic and organized person to serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources. Statement of Duties: This position provides direct, high-level administrative and technical support to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and helps assure a well-organized, efficient, and effective office. In addition the incumbent will: â¢Serve as the major point of contact for the office and acts on behalf of the AVP when appropriate â¢Perform a variety of associated administrative, staff support, and planning activities, coordinate and facilitate meetings, program functions and/or special events/projects â¢Purchase goods and services through the state eVA system and through Shared Services â¢Coordinate schedules, communications, correspondence, calendars, minutes and reports as needed â¢Prepare organization charts and perform other duties as assigned â¢Provide excellent internal and external customer service Salary Range: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour, 29 hours per week, no state benefits To apply for this position please go to www.germanna.edu and click on Work for Germanna.
