Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated locations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: basic benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment and employment law compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works in collaboration with site Practice Administrators to administer various human resources services to providers, with a high focus on exceptional customer services delivery.
Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies for all designated locations.
Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
Manages the onboarding process for new hires in the HRIS system for designated locations.
Responsible for data entry into HRIS system.
Assist with payroll registry reviews.
Communicates benefits information to employees for designated locations.
Initial point of contact for coordinating leaves of absence for employees.
Edits, maintains and stores corporate job descriptions
Create and maintain personnel files assuring compliance with all company policies as well as state/federal regulations; periodically audits personnel folders.
Responsible for ongoing maintenance of corporate organization chart and corporate phone directory
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Assists Director of Human Resources in evaluation of reports, decisions and results for designated locations. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
May assist with coordination and facilitation of Provider orientation monthly and or Corporate New Hire orientation as needed
May assist with recruiting duties as needed.
Works cooperatively with other departments.
Maintains compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA.
Maintains compliance with all federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Assists with Learning Management System tracking for designated locations.
May assist in annual open enrollment process for corporate employees
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
2-4 years of Human Resources experience
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted for the specific required education and experience.
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly with Word and Excel
Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred
Experience using UltiPro
Experience with Office 365
Experience with employee benefits
