DUTIES: The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for SUNY Downstate Medical Center. The Senior Recruiter will recruit, interview, source, and select qualified applicants while continuously building a pipeline of viable candidates. The Senior Recruiter will analyze needs and develop recruitment and retention strategies, attend job fairs and professional and networking events and participate in projects and other initiatives as needed. Responsibilities: - Provide high quality, effective, timely and management of the candidate search process. - Command of passive and direct search management using recruitment techniques. - Ensure that recruiting cycle is completed timely and properly to retain candidates throughout the process. - Coach and collaborate with hiring managers on search areas, interviewing, compensation and management of candidates. - Provide excellent customer service internally and externally (hiring management, candidates and colleagues). - Create partnerships with community and professional organizations to network with candidates and contacts.
