This position directs all aspects of the human resources function, which includes a direct emphasis on recruitment, employee retention, evaluation, employee training, and coaching and/or counseling. Other duties include processing payroll, administration of employee benefits programs, and compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations. This position also serves as an organizational resource for all company employees.
The position requires a person that is detail oriented, self-motivated, empathetic, and a collaborator who can focus on details, while prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Mgmt., or a related field. An Associate's Degree and a minimum of five years related experience with related certifications may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Certifications include SHRM Certified Professional (CP) and HRCI (PHR or SPHR) certifications, or willingness to obtain within a one year time period.
