The HR Coordinator at WAMU administers customer-focused HR programs in order to promote a positive employee and manager experience. The HR Coordinator significantly streamlines HR operations, working with partners at American University to provide proactive recruiting support, coordinate onboarding, conduct new employee orientations and answer benefits and payroll questions with a customer-service mindset. The HR Coordinator also supports special projects like Take Your Child To Work Day, Staff Appreciation Week and other ongoing programs designed to make WAMU a great place to work.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The position requires 20 hours/week
Specific hours are flexible
The range for the position is $22.00 to $25.00/per hour, depending on experience
Required Education and Experience
1-3 years (or more) of experience in Human Resources
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
