The HR Administrator will deliver a superior new hire experience by maintaining quality and high level service throughout the onboarding and offboarding processes. They will ensure the completion and accuracy of all on-boarding and off-boarding tasks according to policies and guidelines while maintaining data integrity. They will work with the Assistant Dean of HR to coordinate and prioritize departmental engagements with a wide range of internal and external constituents and resolve issues as appropriate. Along with the Libraries HR team this person will deliver HR services including; recruitment, communications, and other HR projects as assigned
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 2+ years 2 years of experience in a Human Resources office setting
Preferred Experience: 2+ years Experience in a higher education setting
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience with Workday or cloud base HRIS system, proficiency with intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word & Excel) comfortable with web and intranet (Wiki) creation and editing, experience with calendar management, intermediate knowledge in maintaining administrative services/processes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, intermediate knowledge of HR policies and practices.
