HR Consulting: Creates a strategic partnership between Human Resources and IHS line management through proactive performance management, creative problem-solving, talent management, leadership consultation and service excellence. Core HR Functions: Oversees Human Resources function for the operating unit. Responsible for ensuring that effective policies, procedures and practices are in place, which will enable competency and trait-based recruitment, selection, orientation, training and development, and retention of high performing people. Responsible for ensuring that structures are in place to validate competency and verify licensure, as applicable. Responsible for ensuring that work is accomplished as a System HR Leader, with an operating unit focus. Provides direction and management to direct reports and all employees in department. Handles employee relations and staff development for direct reports. Develop goals and manages fiscal activities of the department.
