The IT Human Resources Applications Supervisor ( Info Sys Supervisor 2) will assist on high visibility, complex enterprise projects related to Human Resources applications. This position will supervise staff in all aspects of systems implementation, testing strategies and ongoing support of related production systems and interfaces. This position is responsible for creating and managing project budgets, charters and schedules and management of all aspects of systems implementation from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration and test, through deployment and support of various systems.REQUIRED-Technical expertise managing production applications. -Experience leading staff on projects and application production.-Project planning, project leadership and analysis experience. -Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable and effective in opening channels of communication, listening to others, and cultivating a healthy, productive, and ongoing dialogue. -Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.-Detailed knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and other tools in the Microsoft Office suite.PREFERRED-Knowledge of related IT principles and concepts to provide solutions to more complex and diverse information systems issues. -In-depth knowledge of various areas of IT and broad knowledge of the IT environment. -Prior management experience with technical staff. -Experience with applications and underlying technologies (servers, storage, databases, etc.). -Knowledge and experience conducting and leading formalized QA or UA testing.-Knowledge and experience in Human Resource applications, functions or systems is preferred (PeopleSoft, ecotime, ANSOS One Staff, etc.)-Experience in a campus, medical center or other university setting and various external venues.-Advanced knowledge of secure software development or practices. -Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
