HR roles in Private Equity are rare and this particular firm (with a reputation of being the best at what they do) rarely have openings of this sort. This genuinely is a one off.
The HR Manager will report into the Regional HR D to look after around 250 employees across Europe. It is a full Generalist role but will also contain a continuous project element dealing with initiatives such as GDPR and SMCR.
The shall include but not be limited to:
Full cycle recruitment for all junior business vacancies as well all temporary staff hiring
Maintain relationships with key recruiters
Ownership of Employee Relations, disciplinary and grievance cases
Support the annual appraisal, promotion and compensation cycle
Contribute to compensation benchmarking and discussions
Manage maternity / paternity leave and flexible working etc
Oversee drafting for non standard documentation for European employees
Supervise the HR Assistant
Advise and assist with global relocations
Work closely with the HRIS manager to shape and improve the system
Prepare reports, board papers, analyse data, respond to ad hoc requests from investors, investor relations etc
At least 4, probably 5-6 years experience as an HR Generalist within Private Equity, Asset Management, Hedge Fund, a top tier investment bank, Big 4 consultancy or Magic Circle law firm
A more experienced candidate would also be considered as long as they have solid and recent Private Equity HR experience.
Exceptional academics are an advantage, especially if you don't have PE / AM / HF experience.
Must have experience handling ER and global mobility cases without supervision.
Have a hands on approach and be much more than a relationship manager with COE's.
3 months notice is a disadvantage but does not necessarily count you out.
Please apply without delay as I want to provide my top 4 candidates by 8th March. Any applications after this date will only be considered if they offer something different to the candidates already submitted.
From past experience this advert will attract many applications. I will try and respond to them all eventually but the chances are I won't respond quickly unless I think you are strong candidate. In this event, please accept my apologies.
