Posting Summary: Perform comprehensive journey level generalist duties and provide consultation to management in all areas of human resource management. Develop and implement effective strategies, particularly in the areas of recruitment and retention, employment and compensation, performance management and staff development. Participate in the planning, development, implementation, training and assessment of human resource programs to improve customer service, efficiency and effectiveness. Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Preferred Minimum Level of Education: Master's Degree Required Minimum Level of Experience: Considerable - 4 to 7 years Required Specific Experience: Professional Level HR Experience Preferred Minimum Level of Experience: Considerable - 4 to 7 years Preferred Specific Experience: Preferred experience as a human resources generalist with at least one functional area of specialization (employee relations, recruitment and staffing, or compensation management. Preferred License or Certification: PHR, SPHR, CCP or CEBS certification preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers in a diverse community. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to prepare and present training programs and materials. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferred Excel proficiencies include VLOOKUP, pivot tables and IF statements.
