ECTC is seeking an energetic, detail oriented Human Resources Assistant to join the Human Resources Team at ECTC. This position will assist the team with human resources related matters using all applicable policies and regulations at the college.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the benefits for ECTC employees to include benefit enrollment and qualifying events for Health, Dental, and Vison. Serve as the benefit liaison between the College and System Office's Benefit Department. Coordinate open enrollments and wellness events.
Manage Worker's Compensation claims for the College.
Assist with recruitment initiatives for the college. Utilize the applicant tracker system through HireTouch, post jobs, correspond with applicants, work with search committees, and pull reports.
Assist with onboarding and hiring process of ECTC employees.
Audit PeopleSoft weekly reports and verifies accuracy of all personnel information in PeopleSoft for human resources, payroll, and benefits.
Assists with professional development reports and evaluation results.
Maintain OnBase electronic personnel files, ensure accuracy by scanning documents into the correct online file/location, and safeguarding personnel records
Education: Associate's Degree (related field) and two year related work experience, or equivalent.
