This Manager of Children's Hospital Pediatric Associates, HR & Operations – will be responsible for:
Overseeing Human Resources and the Facilities functions as well as the business-related insurance program for CHPA (Children's Hospital Pediatric Associates).
Maintaining effective hiring practices that support provision of high quality, patient-centered care and promote diversity in the workplace.
Developing documentation in order to maintain compliance with employment law and record retention guidelines.
Assisting in recruiting and retaining physicians by developing new incentives and promoting the benefits of the Hospital.
Designing and maintaining the benefit programs for physicians and CHPA-appointed personnel. Organizing, managing and conducting open enrollment periods.
Providing day to day benefits and COBRA administration and managing CHPA retirement, LOA, Disability, and Workers Compensation programs and completing 5500 fillings.
Coordinating and negotiating group rates for services related to employee benefits.
Managing all business-related insurance to include the identification, selection, and qualification of third party vendors for additional negotiation and selection by CHPA Board. Contracts under agreement include, but are not limited to, health, life, liability, fiduciary, travel, property, and dental.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree,(Master's Degree preferred), Eight years of progressively responsible human resources, and/or business management experience, experience within the healthcare industry highly preferred.
A strong knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures.
A thorough understanding of best practices regarding Human Resources and regulatory compliance programs.
A high level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem solving and implementing new programs related to increased departmental and organizational operating efficiencies.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in order to work with Administrators, Senior Management, Clinical Staff and vendors.
Working knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations relating to the human resources field.
The ability to manage complexity and ambiguity. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with the ability to provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. No certification, registration or licensure required.
