We are seeking a full-time Senior Human Resources Coordinator for our Century City office, across the street from the Westfield Century City mall. We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, deadline- and process-driven individual to join our team immediately.
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the company’s internal process development and implementation, cultural development and employee management for in-person, remote and hybrid employees, while assisting with daily human resource tasks, including staff recruitment, orientation, ongoing employee training, event planning, electronic file maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment/Hiring
Assists with staff recruitment: posts open positions on job boards; identifies eligible candidates and conducts first round interviews; sends next round resumes to Hiring Managers
Schedules interview appointments and interfaces with candidates; email standard communications to applicants regarding the status of their applications
Conducts references checks, and updates and sends appropriate offer letter, and manages the offer process
Role-related data entry and maintenance of HRIS system data
Onboarding/Offboarding
Manages new hire process, including sending out new hire paperwork and coordinating start date with new hire
Prepares welcome email, owns onboarding process, and plans, conducts and tracks new employee orientation
Manage employee offboarding, including working with IT and Operations roles to obtain company property and sunset user accounts
Initial and Ongoing Training
Performs new hire check ins and tracks onboarding/training progress
Develops training plan and learning objectives, and conducts overall business training and subject specific training for new and current employees
Develops agenda and reference materials for training of employees
Reports to management regarding training objectives completed and employee progress
Employee Development
Coordinates firm events such as staff appreciation, health and wellness clinics, annual holiday party, and other special events as requested
Provide and manage training for employees during role changes
Perform employees check ins to identify growth points
Answers basic questions on HR policies, procedures, and programs
Providing feedback to management regarding the needs of employees in line with the overall mission of the company
Evaluations
Conducts yearly salary and COLA surveys for multiple regions
Collaborates with management to track workloads, production and expectations
Assists with aspects of the annual performance review process for Staff, including helping to develop evaluation metrics, sending out reminders and flagging comments for Manager review
Analyzing metrics and providing insights for goal setting
Performs additional duties as required

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred
Four to six years of experience in a Human Resources support role; experience working in a law firm, startup or professional services firm is preferable
Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or SHRM-CP/SCP certification required
Possess a basic understanding of HR principles and practices
Knowledge of HR-related systems, including applicant tracking platforms, such as ZipRecruiter, Indeed and LinkedIn
Ability to learn and effectively use Company’s HRIS platform
Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
